Ryan and Alisha were wed on a beautiful sunny summer day in July. I was very excited to be involved in their wedding day in this way, as Alisha and I have been friends since the 4th grade!
My day with them started out at Alisha's house where the ladies were getting pampered and ready for this exciting day! These girls were full of smiles and laughter. Once hair and make up was finished a light lunch was shared with Alisha's family, and it was time to get the dresses on! This time is always so special. The picture of what you have been planning for is starting to come together, and starting to become a reality.
We snapped a few photos before heading off to the church where Alisha would meet her groom at the end of the aisle. They shared a beautiful ceremony, filled with many laughs and special moments.
After the ceremony we went to a few different photo locations. These guys were so easy to work with, smiles always ready, and always joking around. It was a lot of fun!
I also had the privilege to share in their reception afterwards at John Calvin School in Smithville. The evening was one full of celebration and joy, celebrating their lives before they knew each other, and celebrating their future together!
