ENGAGED: Jonathan & Rachel

Everything was perfect about Jon & Rachel's Autumn engagement shoot. The sun was shining just right, with a few Autumn clouds on the horizon. We were a little afraid that all the leaves would have fallen off by the time we were able to get these photos, but a few of them held on for us, while the rest made a colourful blanket on the forest floor. 

We started off at Jon's parent's farm in Fergus, Ontario. It was so nice to be able to get these photos in a place that is near and dear to the couple's heart. After spending some time on the farm, Jon & Rachel changed their outfits and we all headed into the heart of Fergus to a small garden area where Jon had asked Rachel to be his wife. It was another special place to capture this couple's love for one another. 

It was such an honour to be able to capture two of my very good friends in this special time of their lives! Please enjoy & feel free to leave your comments below. 

The Meecham Family

It has been a long time since I have posted, but there is no time to post while I am at camp!

Now that I am back, and settling back into life at home, I would like to share with you a family shoot I did in June! This lady is very near and dear to my heart, and it was so nice to meet her beautiful family after working with her for a year. 

I had a lovely time taking photos of the Meecham family, and it was nice to work with such a small group. They were so fun and easy to work with, and we were able to explore the grounds of Ball's Falls to find some different places that the "normal" ones. I had so much fun with them, and am really excited with how the photos turned out! Check them out and let me know what you think!

Engaged: John & Sarah

For John & Sarah's engagement session, they wanted to have some photos at the beach. After changing our mind a few times on the location we ended up going to the Beacon Marina in Jordan. Here we were given permission to go on the docks with the sail boats, and explore the private beach off to the one side. This couple is one of the sweetest couples I have ever met, and I am so honoured to be able to share these photos with you. Enjoy!

"I Do": Peter & Michelle's Wedding Day Highlights

I am excited to share with you some highlights from Peter & Michelle's country wedding. I have never in my life seen a bride so excited to get married. Between random shrieks with one of her bridesmaids, or hugging anyone in her path, Michelle gets the award for the most excited bride. She is such a sweetheart. 

Michelle & Peters day started at Michelle's parents place, with hair, makeup and breakfast. I was met there by some lovely ladies, who were getting all dolled up for the day. Oh I can't forget the most beautiful little girls. The flower girls were so sweet, so well behaved, and did their very important job with pride. Once they were all ready it was to the backyard for some photos of the beautiful ladies and the parents of the bride. 

Then it was off to the church to make things official!! They were able to share a beautiful ceremony, beginning their marriage with the Lord. I loved Peter's reaction when he saw his soon wife to be walking down that aisle. The biggest smile I have ever seen. 

After the church, and snapping a few family photos we went to the family farm to capture the wedding party and bride and groom. This was the perfect location as this soon would become Peter & Michelle's farm, and country just runs in their blood. After some quick photos it was off to the reception held at Vineland Free Reformed Church. It was a great time filled with laughter, and love as two beautiful lives were celebrated!
