"I Do": John & Sarah

John & Sarah had a beautiful day for their November wedding. Though a little chilly and damp, the rain held off for the day.

The day started off at the Casablanca Winery Inn where I met up with Sarah and her girls getting ready for the big day. It was such a fun and relaxed atmosphere, with Tim Hortons in hand. Once everyone was ready to go, family showed up to see the gorgeous bride ready to meet her groom.

Off to the church they all went where they shared in a beautiful ceremony filled with smiles, laughter, and God's promises for their married life. After a quick lunch the wedding party headed over to beautiful Lake Ontario to take some wedding photos. John and Sarah love the beach, and wanted to incorporate it into their photos. Though quite cold, this wedding party did so well, smiling through it all.

John and Sarah had their reception back at the Casablanca Winery Inn. It was a beautiful and intimate setting, looking over the lake. There were many memories shared, and new ones made. Sarah's dad surprised her with a beautiful dance, filled with so much love. During the reception, all the guests were asked to go to the grand staircase, found in the hotel section of the Inn. Here we were able to capture a photo of all the guests that were able to share in John and Sarah's special day. What a great memory to come away with. It was truly a blessing to be part of John and Sarah's day in this way.

Congratulations once again, John & Sarah!

ENGAGED: Jonathan & Rachel

Everything was perfect about Jon & Rachel's Autumn engagement shoot. The sun was shining just right, with a few Autumn clouds on the horizon. We were a little afraid that all the leaves would have fallen off by the time we were able to get these photos, but a few of them held on for us, while the rest made a colourful blanket on the forest floor.

We started off at Jon's parent's farm in Fergus, Ontario. It was so nice to be able to get these photos in a place that is near and dear to the couple's heart. After spending some time on the farm, Jon & Rachel changed their outfits and we all headed into the heart of Fergus to a small garden area where Jon had asked Rachel to be his wife. It was another special place to capture this couple's love for one another.

It was such an honour to be able to capture two of my very good friends in this special time of their lives! Please enjoy & feel free to leave your comments below.

The Meecham Family

It has been a long time since I have posted, but there is no time to post while I am at camp!

Now that I am back, and settling back into life at home, I would like to share with you a family shoot I did in June! This lady is very near and dear to my heart, and it was so nice to meet her beautiful family after working with her for a year.
I had a lovely time taking photos of the Meecham family, and it was nice to work with such a small group. They were so fun and easy to work with, and we were able to explore the grounds of Ball's Falls to find some different places that the "normal" ones. I had so much fun with them, and am really excited with how the photos turned out! Check them out and let me know what you think!
